It was a bit cold and http://beloved51.multiply.com/photos/album/4/Celebration_of_Life-_My_Birthday_February_15 Thu, 19 Feb 2009 01:07:55 -0000 http://beloved51.multiply.com/journal/item/3/Celebration_of_Life_-Year_2008 We are counting of 4 days and it will be year 2009.&nbsp; A lot of things had happened, personally I am reflecting of what we had been through and by God's grace we had overcome the trials and rejoice for whatever situations we are : laid off for Gerry on his job in February 2008 and then February 21, he started in his new place of employment; celebrated 51st b-day last Feb 15, what a joy &amp; full of gratitude to the Lord that I had reached over half century; our first son, Gerson Francis Musico-Tuazon graduated in BA Psychology in Research, Tyndale University College &amp; Seminary - May 2008; our second son, Andre Musico-Tuazon finished 1st year Sociology in University of Toronto and still pursuing this course; my occupation changed too last July 21, 2008 as Accounts Payable Assistant at Bonita Management. I was so impressed of what the Lord had done in my career. I am so blessed, persevering, taking risk even though&nbsp; I don't know what's next. At this time, I am listening to a song by Chris Tom "How Great is our God". I am awed of God's greatness and His love to all people. God is waiting for us to choose Him. The Lord touches our hearts to draw near to Him. I remember His Word in James 4:7 - Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. May the Lord touch you as you read this blog. My prayer for all you, that you find the real purpose of living. I am in a situation now that think a lot of relationships. Relationships that builds, breaks, moves on and to keep on. I am thankful that the Lord accepts me as I am. I am grateful because God is a personal Spirit....I will seek intimate fellowship with Him everyday. He knows what is in my mind and heart, He knows my struggle, I am so glad I am not alone. I am so glad that He is with me, wherever I am. We had a one day trip to Cobourg to celebrate Canada Day. Masarap magbarbecue sa uling. Masarap and masaya ang kainan. Tonde, Gerson & Andre's friend joined us in the trip. We went swimming in the man made lake, relax na pagod, sulit ang araw namin. Time to say goodbye to our cousin, pics taken uli. Cecile and Ralston are going home to Ottawa, while we are going home to Toronto. I love going to their cottage, being with them, nature around, parang nasa Baguio ka, malamig. I praise & thank the Lord for these gorgeous, well-spent time. I can reflect God's goodness, faithfulness and ever-presence. I knew God very well but I didn't truly know Him. I was rebellious against my religion. I decline to make confession of my sins to the priest because he is human like me and he can't forgive my sins. On my daily struggle on life, I always asked if God is true?, if Jesus is true, where and how can I find them?</p> <p>My life was on the edge of turmoil and I was seeking for guidance and direction. On that time, there was a Bible Study held in my in-law's house and they invited me to join them. It was an opening of my search. I heard from the Bible study leader that he enjoyed a real purpose and meaning of his life. That statement struck my mind and heart and wonder how this was possible and wanted to know about. He showed me a quotation from the Bible that says: God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son that everyone who believes on Him may not die but have eternal life.
